OUR STORY
From swiping to sealing the deal, we met after matching on Bumble. Our first date was grabbing drinks in the West Loop area of Chicago. Jeff had just recently moved to Chicago from Dallas before we met. Ironically, after we met, Paula would move to Dallas, and we would be long-distance.
Paula moved back to Chicago in April 2022, and we have lived together ever since. Jeff proposed in Medellin, Colombia, with Paula’s family and closest friends present. Jeff’s mom also made a surprise visit and was also present for the engagement. Having just seen how beautiful a Cartagena wedding could be right before the proposal, we decided to have a Cartagena wedding ourselves.
